Download and Install istana
We offer istana as an Android APK download and as a web app for iOS, desktop, and mobile browsers. You do not need to visit app stores to get istana—you download the APK directly from our website or install our web app by saving it to your home screen. This gives us flexibility to update the app without waiting for store approval.

App versus Browser: Strengths of Each
The istana app stores your game state and account cache on your device, so games load faster on repeat visits and tournament histories display immediately. Push notifications alert you when a tournament starts, when you receive a withdrawal confirmation, or when your account needs verification. The app also works partially offline—you can review your account history and settings without an internet connection, and the app syncs changes when you go online. The browser version requires an internet connection but works on any device and updates automatically without reinstalling.
Device Compatibility
The istana app requires Android 7.0 or later. Older Android devices may not run our app, but you can still access istana through your mobile browser by visiting istana.app. The iOS web app works on iOS 12 and later, including iPad. Desktop browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) support istana at full resolution. We recommend a device with at least 100 MB free storage for the app.
Common Installation Issues
If your device blocks the APK installation, check that you have enabled Unknown Sources in your security settings. Some Android versions hide this setting under Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install unknown apps. Tap istana and toggle Allow installation from this source. If you see a certificate warning, this is normal—our certificate is self-signed. Tap Install anyway. If the app crashes after installation, restart your phone and clear the istana app cache (Settings > Apps > istana > Storage > Clear Cache). If you cannot download the APK, check that your internet connection is stable and that you have at least 100 MB free storage.
Data, Permissions, and Account Security on istana
The istana app requests permission to access your device storage (to cache game data), internet (to connect to our servers), and notifications (to send withdrawal and tournament alerts). We do not request or use camera, microphone, location, or contact permissions. Your login password and payment data are encrypted in transit to our servers. We use two-factor authentication to prevent unauthorized access—enable this in your account settings. If you are in Jakarta, Surabaya, or Bandung and use DANA or e-wallet for deposits, your payment data is processed through their secure gateways, not stored on our app. Before your first withdrawal, we require you to upload identity documents for verification. We store these securely and do not share them with third parties except as required by law.
